When does the sale of passes end?

The passes will be sold until June 24th, 2012 or until the pass pool is empty (the pool has been considerably reduced compared to last year).

How much does the pass cost?

The pass costs PLN 350.

What does the pass entitle me to?

The pass is programmed for  55 admissions, so it entitles the holder to participate in 50 shows (the biggest possible number of films to watch – 10 festival days x 5 shows a day) providing you have made a reservation for a specific film, and to one absence without cancelling the reservation (for every next absence without cancelling the reservation the holder will lose 5 admissions - read more below.) In addition, the pass entitles you to discounts on tickets for the concerts and special events as well as a discount on the catalogue and other festival publications.

When can you make a reservation from?

The seat reservation for the film screenings on Thursday, July 19th 2012 will begin on Wednesday, July 18th at 12.00 p.m. From Thursday, July 19th seat reservations for all screening on the day and the day after will start at 8.30 a.m. For example: to make a reservation for a film screened on 21 July, you will be able to book the seats on 20 July from 8:30 a.m. This is to eliminate the situation where all the seats are booked “just in case” on the first day. There will be a chance of looking through the repertoire carefully and making a considered decision. You should remember that you can order only one seats for a given screening at a given hour. You must not order more than one seats in a single hour bloc on the given day. An hour bloc means screenings held at intervals no longer than 30 minutes (e.g. 9:45, 10:00 and 10:15 make a single hour bloc).

Do I need to reserve seats online for the Festival opening and closing film screenings?

This year online seat reservations apply also for the Festival opening and closing film screenings. Reservations for the screenings on Thursday, July 19th 2012  will begin on Wednesday, July 18th 2012 at 12.00 pm.

What should I do if I want to go to a different film (than the one have I planned earlier)?

In such a case you should cancel your reservation and make a new one; this is possible until 15 minutes before the show. If you do not cancel your reservation and not appear at the show, the number of admissions on your pass will be reduced by 5 admissions; that is why it is necessary to cancel the reservation.

Where can I cancel the reservation?

Cancellation of the reservation is possible at all festival facilities. They will have specifically prepared computer stations with access to the Internet.

Is it possible to give one's pass to another person?

The pass cannot be given to anyone else on any condition. It is attributed to the person who bought it. It has a first name, surname and photo of the person.

How do I add a photo to the pass?

When making an order for the pass (first you must register on the website) or activating a voucher after filling in the data, you will find that there is an “add a photo to the pass” button. You do it just like you add a file (attachment) to an e-mail message.
At the click of a button: beginning this year, festivalgoers have the option of using a webcam to easily and quickly take the portrait picture required during pass purchases and voucher activation.

What are the requirements for a photo to be added to the pass order?

Itshould be a current portrait photo in a file not exceeding 2 Mb, with a minimum size of 400 pixels x 400 pixels, preferably in resolution 300 dpi; the photo will be used to identify the owner of the pass. Lack of a photo or a photo which does not identify the person ordering the pass makes the pass invalid.

What is a voucher and what does it entitle me to?

The voucher is a scratcher strip card with a value of 350 zł, which must be activated online through the festival website using the activation code found underneath the scratcher strip. The activation code on each voucher can be used only once. The voucher is equivalent to a festival pass for the 12th T-Mobile New Horizons IFF and provides the holder with the same entitlements: entry to a maximum of 50 film screenings, each requiring prior seat reservation online, as well as discounts on ticket purchases for concerts and special events, and reduced purchase prices on the festival catalog and other festival publications.

Where and when can I buy a voucher?

Vouchers are available for purchase through the online store at www.nowehoryzonty.pl/sklep.do.  Vouchers will be available for purchase beginning 23 March 2012 until 17 June 2012 or until all vouchers are sold, whichever comes first.

How do I activate my voucher?

The voucher must be activated through the festival website (using the activation code found underneath the scratcher strip) at www.nowehoryzonty.pl by selecting ‘activate voucher’ in the ‘entry’ menu, or by logging directly onto www.nowehoryzonty.pl/voucher.do. The activation process will require you to enter the activation code found underneath the scratcher strip, provide the voucher holder’s contact information, and upload the holder’s portrait photo. The system will accept each activation code only once. Vouchers may be activated beginning 23 March 2012 until 8 July 2012.
