Panorama features works by the masters of contemporary independent and discovery cinema, award-winning films from festivals both large and small.

The programme includes, among others: the newest film by Bruno Dumont, inspired by the life of the legendary sculptress – Camille Claudel 1915 starring Juliette Binoche in the title role; the Mexican Heli by Amat Escalante, winner of the Best Direction award at Cannes and guest of the 12th T-Mobile New Horizons IFF; Senada (An Episode in the Life of an Iron Picker) – which was showered with awards at the Berlin festival, a new image from Danis Tanovic, the author of the critically acclaimed No Man’s Land; Wara no tate – a thriller directed by Takashi Miike, a favourite of New Horizons audiences; the Oscar-nominated Chilean film No by Pablo Larraín with Gael Garcia Bernal; Like Father and Son by Japanese cinema master Hirokazu Kore-eda, awarded by the jury of the last Cannes festival as well as the experimental film short 3x3D by trio Peter Greenaway, Jean-Luc Godard and Edgar Pera. Panorama will also feature the newest films by other personalities in world cinema, among others, Ulrich Seidl (Paradise: Hope, the final part of his famous trilogy) and Peter Greenaway (Goltzius and the Pelican Company about the legendary engraver, print publisher and painter Hendrick Goltzius).
